The Four Queens of the tarot—the Queen of Cups, the Queen of Swords, the Queen of Pentacles, and the Queen of Wands—can be understood as distinct erotic structures, each organizing a mode of embodied knowing and giving shape to a particular form of erotic intelligence. Each queen offers a unique way of perceiving the erotic: a configuration of attention, sensation, and relation through which knowledge becomes available and carried forward through the body.

The erotic is the very ground of a divinatory practice. It is what allows a reading to remain responsive to what exceeds it, to hold contact without collapsing into certainty, and to stay accountable to what is encountered.

Through the queens, we approach the body and its often mysterious interoiroty as a dynamic system of perception. We will attend closely to how the nervous system tracks safety and threat, how meaning moves through tension, release, impulse, and pause, and how sustained attention to these patterns sharpens our ability to discern: divining is an act of interpretation, and it is also an act of attunement: a disciplined responsiveness to what is already in motion within the field.

This work expands our capacity to feel with greater safety and range—not by resolving contradiction, but by increasing our capacity to feel into what remains unresolved and mysterious. It asks us to stay with intensity without retreat, to resist numbing, and to develop the discernment necessary to differentiate signal from projection. Over time, the body emerges as a legitimate citational source as well as a site of empowered and radical encounter.
