This is an audio class I gave last April to members of our Four Queens Substack community. As we discussed the four queens of the tarot as gateways to the divinatory field in Class #1, I thought this might be an interesting extension of that conversation.
In my practice, within the deck certain cards function as attendants to the Queens, carrying and extending their forms of intelligence in unique ways. Their work is often indirect, emerging through relation rather than declaration. This session examines how these cards operate in alignment with specific Queens, revealing layered structures within the deck.
Monthly Tarot Talks
On the first day of each month in 2026, I am sending a divinatory talk to community members. The talks are designed to orient you to the month’s seasonal energies and the questions and desires they call forward but are also created to be useful anytime (whenever you might happen to listen). One of the reasons I love doing these talks is because the process offers an experience of how the act of divination/card reading can generate its own pedagogy (broadly defined).
